Update on Archie

 Hello everyone. 

I'm afraid I have sad news. Archie Battersbee's parents lost the legal battle and Archie's life support was removed on Saturday and he died right after. 

Please pray for his soul and for his parents. 

But we don't stop here. In memory of Archie we have to keep fighting for people like him - people whom everyone would just have declare dead and have done with. And not only in cases like his, but also in particular with Euthanasia. In the Netherlands for example they are trying to make Euthanasia legal for 5-12 year olds in cases of bad disability or serious illnesses, and other countries will most likely follow suit. We have to fight for those who cannot fight for themselves. We can't just say 'they are as good as dead', that is the sin of despair. We have to trust God and put their lives in His hands. That's what it means to be pro life. It's not just about abortion, though that is a huge component, but also about people like Archie. We can't give up on them. Thank you for your prayers.

     We all have to pray. Prayer is a very basic requirement for Christian life, and besides, we wouldn't last very long without it. But what are some ways we can pray? And how do we know which way is right for us?      Below are some different forms of prayer that are good for different purposes. They all have their strengths and weaknesses, but they can all be very effective in bringing us closer to Christ. Daily examen      This form of prayer requires five steps:       1.) Become aware of God's presence       2.) Thank God for the ways He has blessed you in since the last time you prayed       3.) Reflect on the ways that God was present in your life since the last time you prayed       4.) Ask forgiveness for all of the sins you've committed       5.) Choose one area to improve on in the future       This can be very helpful because it shows us just how God can work through our lives. Taking a 'How Catholic are you actually" quiz...

 Hello everyone! So today I'm doing something a bit different and more fun after all the serious content. So I'm going to be taking a 'How Catholic are you' quiz from BuzzFeed, which will be interesting to say the least since I'm not too sure how nuanced BuzzFeed is in their ideas of Catholicism.  Anyway, enjoy!  The quiz is from BuzzFeed: 'How Catholic are you actually?'   "Do you practise what you preach" (seriously overused phrase.
